Anthony DeWitt | Partner

Prior to his law career, Tony DeWitt was a respiratory therapist and department manager at several different hospitals. In those roles, he experienced frustration with how hospitals operated. “I decided if I could not make a hospital listen to me as a therapist, that I could make them listen to me as a lawyer.”

With this background, DeWitt focuses on False Claims Act and class action litigation and appellate work. “I took an oath to practice law ‘with consideration for the defenseless and oppressed,’ and I honor that oath when I take on bad clinicians,” said DeWitt. “I also help good clinicians by cleaning up a system from the outside that shows no indication of cleaning up itself.”

I take the practice of law very seriously, but I believe that you can't live if you can't laugh.
