Supporting Our Community

As trial lawyers, we've chosen to help people and companies in need.  But we feel a deep responsibility to aid those in all walks of life in our community and want to make a positive difference outside the courtroom as well.

Our firm and our people are heavily involved in area charitable organizations and causes – from serving on boards to organizing paper drives to running in fund-raising marathons.

BFRG aids Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City inner-city day care operation responsible for approximately 400 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years.
And one day each week, everyone at BFRG gathers to make sandwiches, which we donate to the City Union Mission, a nonprofit organization that takes care of the needy in the greater Kansas City area.  City Union Mission distributes the sandwiches to men, women and families staying at the shelter and those who come in off the street for a much-needed meal.

The list of charitable organizations and endeavors that BFRG, our attorneys and our administrative staff supports includes:

  • ALS Association
  • Brain Injury Association
  • Children’s Mercy Hospital
