Clients look to Jim Frickleton as an attorney who is able to understand both sides of the courtroom and how they work. “It’s important to put together a resolution that works for everyone – a battle isn’t won when the other side loses completely, “ said Frickleton. “I find ways to lead the opposition toward solutions that are beneficial to my clients without burning bridges, but knowing that if a case must be tried, we will do anything within the bounds of the law to win.” That same creativity and determination have made Frickleton an expert in cases that require complex civil litigation. “I love learning about new cases.”
Frickleton uses his legal knowledge to serve outside of the courtroom. He has written and lectured to professional groups on the state and national levels and been the president of both the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and the association’s foundation (KCMBF). Frickleton has also worked as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the UMKC Law School and been President of the law school’s Foundation. He is a long-serving member on the Missouri Supreme Court Committee on Civil Jury Instructions.
Jim and his wife, Julie, live in Leawood, Kansas. He has three children – two sons, Patrick and Sam, and a daughter, Kelly.
