My Story
Kerrie, with the firm since 2014, was a former ophthalmic medical technician, and enjoys applying her medical background to her current work in the medical malpractice legal field. She enjoys the firm’s supportive and positive work atmosphere, and the assistance and support available to clients during difficult times. When not at the office, Kerrie spends time watching her daughter play college soccer, traveling with friends and remodeling her house.
What do you find rewarding about working at Bartimus Frickleton Robertson Rader?
That’s easy, the attorneys and staff. The attorneys treat us so well. They listen to our ideas and treat us as part of a team. The staff here is amazing. They will drop everything and chip in whenever it’s needed. You don’t find that often in a workplace environment.
What is your background and training in the legal field?
I’ve taken what I’ve learned in the medical field as a COMT and transferred it to the medical malpractice field. I originally started as a paralegal in insurance defense. Then when the firm I worked for dissolved, I made the transition to plaintiffs’ work, which for me is much more rewarding.
Do you have a favorite memory from working at Bartimus Frickleton Robertson Rader?
My most favorite memories from working at BFRR are the firm outings and assisting other organizations in helping those in need. We do our best to help others and when we put our resources together, we do some pretty amazing things!
