James Bartimus Awarded Compassion for the Homeless Award

Jim Bartimus was Awarded the City Union Mission’s Compassion for the Homeless Award.  Bartimus started the weekly tradition of making ham and cheese sandwiches for the homeless over 20 years ago in the firm’s kitchen every Tuesday morning.  It is estimated that the firm has donated over $100,000 worth of supplies for sandwiches since the program’s inception.  Every Tuesday morning about 10:00 a.m., all of the employees gather in the kitchen to assemble ham and cheese sandwiches and then re-bag to send to City Union Mission.  It is estimated that the firm makes around 350 sandwiches per week.
